Do I need to have a job offer?

  • Yes, this individual must have a job offer from a university or an institution of higher education secured before applying for this visa.
  • The job offer must be a tenure or tenure-track position.
  • Alternatively, a research position from a private or nonprofit institution is acceptable as a job offer.
